Patricia J. ‘Patty’ Russell

1959-2023

Patricia J. “Patty” Russell, 63, of Youngstown, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at her residence, following a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born on Aug. 10, 1959, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Beverly Russell.

Patty was a graduate of Beaver Local High School Class of 1977. After graduation, she moved to Texas and furthered her education at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She dedicated numerous years to working in the gas and oil industry.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Patty enjoyed Italian opera, especially Andrea Bocelli. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed knitting.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Connie Smith and husband Steve of Salem, Ohio, and Karen Russell-Strong of Orem, Utah; companion, Kieran Swearingen; nephew, James T. Russell; and sister-in-law, Brenda Russell.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brother James E. Russell, sister Beverly Russell and nephew Jonathan Russell.

Per Patty’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
