James ‘Rusty’ Haldiman
NEGLEY — James “Rusty” Haldiman, 62, passed away Dec. 19, 2022, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman following a lengthy illness.
Rusty was born March 10, 1960, in Salem, Ohio, son of the late Fred and Lena Ingram Haldiman.
He had worked at ENSOL as a warehouse manager for a number of years until his health declined.
Rusty was an avid hunter and loved shooting, hunting morel mushrooms and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bernadette Sacconi; two children, Brandy (Brad Bable) Haldiman of East Palestine, James Haldiman of Chester, W.Va.; five siblings, Dan (Vicki) Haldiman of Rogers, Kathy Linville of Calcutta, Debbie Adams of New Waterford, Jeff (Diane) Haldiman of East Palestine, Leslie (Tracy) Henderson of Columbus; his extended children, Danny Bable, Jennie Bable and Sara (Corey) Channell as well as his grandchildren, Thea Bable, Olivia Bable, Gray and Norah Channell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Jack Linville and Sam Adams.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Judy Noel officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
