Graham (Red) Pitts
Graham Pitts, 96, of Hanoverton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022. He was born in Floyd County Kentucky to the late Oscar and Lula Pitts May 15, 1926.
Red proudly served his country in the Army during World War II in the 77th infantry division serving in Japan. He married Mary Belle Guthrie June 7, 1947 and she passed away Sept. 5, 2011. He enjoyed coon hunting and chasing foxes in his younger days with friends and his brothers. Graham was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his daughter Bonnie (Charles) Moore and son Roy Pitts both of Hanoverton; four grandchildren, Brooke Power, Jordan (Michael) Deutschlander, Chantel (Nate) Isner, Brian (Jackie) Moore; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gardis, Adrian, Garvin and Glenn, and his sister Laura.
