Florence M. Voigt
ROGERS — Florence M. Voigt, 79, passed away December 6, 2022, at St. Elizabeth’s Health Center in Youngstown.
Florence was born March 1, 1943, in Staten Island, NY., daughter of the late George and Florence Ashley Warne.
She was a resident of Rogers for over 50 years having been raised in Staten Island, NY. Florence was a loving person who would always lend an ear to those in need. She loved animals and donated to help all area animal shelters in need.
Florence is survived by a son, Keith Voigt, Sr., of Rogers; brother, John Warne; two sisters, Diane Natale and Joann Gilmore, all of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Keith, Jr. and Shania as well as three great-grandchildren and many others she helped raise and take care of over the years.
She was preceded in death by her biological parents as well as her stepmother who raised her, Ruth Warne; husband Fred “Bill” Voigt in 1999 and a daughter, Debra Ann Voigt in 2007.
The family will receive friends Friday December 16, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. No other services will be observed.
