Milton Dale Harmon
EAST PALESTINE — Milton Dale Harmon, 92, a lifelong resident, passed away November 26, 2022, at the Christian House in East Palestine.
Dale was born August 12, 1930, in Unity, son of the late Milton and Zora Heck Harmon.
He was a 1947 graduate of East Palestine High School and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. Dale worked for 40 years as a tanker truck driver prior to his retirement in 1994. He loved watching Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and NASCAR with his dog Tinker on his lap. He will be remembered for the card games at the family farm and the trips with his family to the Outer Banks.
Dale is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eloise Harmon; a son, Scott (Pam) Harmon of Robbinsville, NJ; daughter, Jill (Gregg) Wagner of Cranberry Twp., two sisters, Gerry (Larry) Garrett of East Palestine and Rita (Fred) Paxson of Lexington, Ky.; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Taylor of Robbinsville, NJ, as well as Brock and Kurt of Cranberry Twp., Pa.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday December 4, 2022, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday prior to services. A private interment will be held at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens on Monday.
The family wishes to thank the Christian House for all the love and care they showed to Dale the last year of his life.
