Donna J. Witte
WAUSEON, Ohio — Donna J. Witte, 72, of Wauseon Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice, where she had been since Thursday, October 20, from complications of pancreatic cancer. Donna was born on July 26, 1950 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Daniel Richard and Geraldine (Greasel)Esenwein. Donna was widowed from her first husband, Gary Indermill on June 18, 1978.
Donna raised her daughters in Minerva, Ohio and for the last 25 years was a resident of Wauseon, Ohio. She worked at the Normandy Inn and Speakman’s Pub in Minerva and most recently at American Legion Post 300 in Napoleon, Ohio. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, Ohio. She enjoyed watching Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeye football and spending time with her family.
Donna is survived by her husband, Dwayne “Pat” Witte, whom she married May 22, 2004; and two daughters; Julie Indermill Hannaford and her husband Mark of North Benton and their children, Kyle (Mercedes Parks, fiance) and Rachel; Jen Indermill and her partner Bill Earley of North Canton and her children, Garrett and Emily Wiley; brother, Richard James (MaryAnn) Esenwein of Columbiana; sister, Mrs. Roger (Bonnie) Miller of Columbiana; mother-in-law, Nancy Witte; and brothers-in-law, Daniel, Duncan, and Dean (Shannon) Witte. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley A. Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, where visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m.
