Christy Charlton Roberts (Nye)

Born October 24, 1972 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of Thomas D. and Margaret “Peggy” Charlton of East Liverpool, Ohio. She spent most of her lifetime living in this area moving to the Tiffin/Forest, Ohio area seven years ago. Christine worked as a Residential Title Processor with Mid-American Title Company.

Christine loved to camp, fish, kayak, go 4 wheeling, hike, garden, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she leaves behind her life companion, Larry R. Nye at home; one daughter, Kala Haught and her husband, Chip of East Liverpool, Ohio; one son, Cody Nye of Forest, Ohio; and two grandsons, Pierson and Porter.

In addition, she also leaves behind one sister, Tiffany Sayre of Canal Winchester, Ohio and one brother, Ben Charlton and his wife, Ashley of Cincinnati, Ohio; one niece and two nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Ian Leyda of the Longs Run Trinity Church will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Immediately following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center.
