Charles ‘Charlie’ R. Beverly

He was born on Nov. 5, 1987 in Canton, Ohio to Charles Beverly and Lisa Wellon.

Charlie graduated from Southern Local in 2006 and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 18 Union and worked for Jefferson Material for over seven years. He loved to ride his Jeep Wrangler, ATVs and getting muddy. He also enjoyed collecting diecast model tractors and semi-trucks. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beverly and Lisa Wellon; fiancee, Ginger Matson; three stepdaughters, Cierra Matson, Karlee Matson and Kendal Ray; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Felicity Alleshouse; grandparents, Lester and Velma Wellon; sister, Lauren (Andrew) Stephens; nephew, Waylon Stephens; and uncle, Bret (Mary Jo) Wellon; two aunts, Linda Beverly and Kathy (Chuck) McCoy; and two cousins, Zack and Chucky McCoy.

Preceding him in death were his great grandparents, Earl and Minnie Ketchun; and grandparents, Robert Beverly and Betty (Sonny) Cline.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton, officiated by Pastor Harold Barber. Burial will follow in Scroggsfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m.
