William Allen ‘Jum’ Pease
EAST LIVERPOOL — William Allen “Jum” Pease, 66, of East Liverpool Road passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 12:03 a.m. at East Liverpool City Hospital after taking ill suddenly at home.
Born March 28, 1956, he was a son of the late William L. and Barbara George Pease. A lifetime area resident, Jum was a retired dispatcher with the H & F Trucking Company in Newell, West Virginia. He was a member of Beaver Local High School Class of 1975. Jum was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. For many years he sponsored a racecar that ran at the Pittsburgh Motor Speedway on Saturdays.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Murray Pease, whom he married September 6, 1980, at home. There is one sister, Peggy Flowers and her husband, Pete of Youngstown, Ohio and one brother, Tom Pease of East Liverpool. In addition, Jum is survived by a very special nephew, Tommy Pease, who was a tremendous help over the last few years.
Friends may visit the family on Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool. Pastor Mark Blakeley will officiate a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Immediately following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center.
