Glenn ‘Pap’ Cusick
EAST PALESTINE — Glenn “Pap” Cusick, 90, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away Sept. 29, 2022, following a brief illness.
Pap was born Oct. 15, 1931, in West Point, Ohio, son of the late John and Margaret McLaughlin Cusick.
He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. Pap was known as a hard worker in everything he did. He loved farming and racing cars on the drag strip.
Pap is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Watson Cusick; son, Tim Cusick Sr. of East Palestine; daughter, Krisann Jacobsen of Columbiana; brother, John G. (Carol) Cusick of North Canton; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Doran of East Palestine and Cheryl (Bill) Duff of Enon Valley, Pa.; four grandchildren, Ryan (Laura) Bycroft, Devon Lynn, Dawn Cusick and Tim Cusick Jr.; as well as seven great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Jacobsen, and a sister, Marjorie Simon.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 6 to 7 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
