Linda Lee (Altomare) Farmer
Linda Lee (Altomare) Farmer, 72, passed away on August 20, 2022 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She died following and unexpected illness with family by her side.
Linda graduated from David Anderson HS with the Class of 1968 and from The Ohio State University in 1972. She was a life-long elementary school teacher and will be fondly remembered by the many students she educated over her decades-long career. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandma and sister, her smile and vibrant presence will be missed terribly.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father Mary (Benner) and John Altomare. She leaves behind her loving husband of 49 years William (Bill) Farmer, her sons Jeffrey (Mandy) Farmer, Jason (Haylie) Farmer, brother Alan (Jane) Altomare and grandchildren Kennedy, Kaitlyn, Landon and Bowen.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held December 5 from 1-4 p.m. in the Cypress Falls Social Hall, 2605 Argula Dr., North Port, FL 34289.
