Lance T. Guy
NEW WATERFORD — Lance T. Guy, Sr., 64, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away September 25, 2022, at his home with family by his side.
Lance was born April 2, 1958, in Columbia, Pa., son of the late Perry Guy, Sr. and Pricie Faye Neal Guy.
He was a 1977 graduate of Crestview High School. Lance worked his entire life as a truck driver, having started driving pallet trucks at age 16 until his retirement after 22 years driving for PGT Trucking. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and was an avid Steelers fan. He was a member of the Potters Club, East Palestine Moose and New Waterford Eagles as well as the Ohio ABATE motorcycle assoc. He most especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Lance is survived by a daughter, Starr L. (Sidney III) Cowan of Akron; son, Lance T. Guy, Jr. (Melissa) of New Waterford; two brothers, Ray (Lori) Guy, Sr., Jason Guy both of New Waterford; sisters, Elizabeth (Daniel) Smith of New Waterford and Josie (Matthew) Vogan; three grandchildren, Hayden, Ashton and Logan of Akron as well as several nieces and nephews of the area.
He was preceded by a brother, Perry Guy, Jr.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
