James G. Laughlin
ROGERS — James G. Laughlin, Sr. 70, passed away September 24, 2022, at his home with family by his side.
James was born February 19, 1952, in East Liverpool, Ohio, son of the late Jack and Mary Werling Laughlin.
He was a member of the Rogers Assembly of God in Rogers. He worked for Col-Pump in Columbiana for 20 years and Tecnocap in Warren for 30 plus years having retired in November 2013. James lived his life to the fullest; enjoyed fishing and camping alongside his family and friends.
James is survived by his wife of 53 years, Abby Hughes Laughlin of Rogers; his children, James, Jr. (Connie) Laughlin of Rogers, Rick (Joan) Laughlin of Rogers, April (Joe) Isaac of Columbiana and Tim Laughlin of Negley. He also leaves his brother Jay (Carol) Laughlin of Lisbon and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Laughlin; two sisters, Karen Laughlin, and Jenna Richards.
The family will receive friends Tuesday September 27, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. Following James’ wishes, no other public services will be observed.
