Douglas E. Doran
EAST PALESTINE — Douglas E. Doran, 59, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away Sept. 6, 2022 at the Hospice House in Poland following a courageous battle with cancer.
Doug was born March 5,1963 in Salem, Ohio, son of Kenneth and Beverly Watson Doran.
He was a 1981 graduate of East Palestine High School and a member of Local 125 Laborers Union. He enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his daughters.
Doug is survived by two daughters, Kaylee Doran of Columbus and Bree (fiance Jake Hitt) Doran of Rogers; mother, Beverly Doran; and a brother, Brian (Laura) Doran of New Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Doran, and a brother, Gregory Doran.
Following Douglas’ wishes, no services will be held. A private burial will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
