Charleen L. Mesmer
COLUMBIANA — Charleen L. Mesmer, 90, of Columbiana, passed away August 9, 2022 at Briarfield Manor in Austintown.
Charleen was born March 17, 1932 in New Waterford, Ohio, daughter of the late Otto and Erma Lipp Huston.
She was a graduate of East Palestine High School and enjoyed baking, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Charleen is survived by a daughter, Judy (Mike) Allender of Canfield; two sons, Rick (Patty) Mesmer of East Palestine, Dave Mesmer of Boardman; a sister, Helen Claypool of East Palestine; six grandchildren, Kirsten (Jerry) Mariotti, Amanda (David) Miller, Kate Mesmer, Mark Mesmer, Jenna Allender and Payge Allender as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Theodore “Ted” Mesmer, Jr. in 2007; a son, Dan Mesmer and two brothers, William and Ronald Huston.
A private burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Youngstown.
Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
