Clark A. Wolf

NEGLEY — Clark A. Wolf, 77, a former longtime resident of East Palestine, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Negley, July 17, 2022.

Clark was born in East Liverpool, May 3, 1945, son of the late Paul and Edna Cane Wolf.

He was a 1963 graduate of David Anderson High School in Lisbon. Clark was an agent for Nationwide insurance in East Palestine for 50 years prior to his retirement. He was active in many civic organizations in East Palestine for a number of years. He also worked for the Canfield Fair for 49 years, serving in admissions.

He was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Clark was a member of the Salem Bowling Hall of Fame and loved spending time with family and friends. Clark also loved spending winters at his home in North Port, Florida.

Clark is survived by his wife of 23 years, Darlene Burton Wolf; a son, Bruce Wolf of Meadville, Pa.; stepson, Charlie Bosel of Lisbon; stepdaughter, Joy Bosel of Lancaster, Pa.; brother, John (Kellie) Wolf; two sisters, Pam (Tom) Gallo and Victoria; six grandchildren, Zane and Miranda Wolf, Darren, Kaleigh and Hannah Bosel and Eva Frankfort as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Georgianne) Wolf and a sister, Vivian Wolf.

Following Clark’s wishes, no formal services will be observed, although family and friends are invited to the Columbiana County Fairgrounds Commercial Building Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. for a time to gather and share memories.
