Bobby Joe Stacy
Bobby Joe Stacy, 65, of Negley (formerly of Youngstown and Orville) died at 10:52 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022, in the emergency room of East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born in Virginia, the son of the late Branscom Stacy and Clementine (Ratliff) Stacy Gore.
Bobby moved to Negley about 10 years ago. He had previously worked at the Tobin Workshop and Columbiana County Workshop. He enjoyed his time working with everyone at the facility. Bobby would go around and give good hugs to the men and kiss the hands of all the ladies. The most recent years living out at the horse therapy ranch in Negley allowed him to be himself and enjoy the outdoors. The sense of humor he had and always being upbeat about everything. His spare time was occupied by playing basketball, volleyball, bowling, working puzzles and other type games. He always had a real knack at being mechanical minded and able to solve things. Bobby was also a very organized and neat person and everything had to be in its place to be correct.
Bobby is survived by his sisters Wanda (Rocky) Miller of Texas, Jenny Chappell of Sebring and Jean McInter of Michigan, the gentleman from the home as well as a host of friends and care givers from Kaleidoscope Program.
In addition to his parents and stepfather Orville Gore, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Marie Perine and Kirby Stacy.
Services will be on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, 11 a.m. at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The burial will immediately follow at North Lawn Memorial Gardens in Peninsula, Ohio. A time of visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
