Wuanita E. Wilber

Wuanita E. Wilber, 72, of Rittman, Ohio, died on June 18, 2022 following a lengthy illness.

She was born on June 13, 1950 in Alliance, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Dickson Sr. and Almira (Smith) Minnich. Having lived most of her life in the area, Wuanita was an STNA for different places, having last worked for the Ezra Center in East Liverpool and retiring in 2006. She was a member of Christian Harber of TMRC and Well of Hope Ministries in Canton. She loved to bake and crochet. She loved to send out greeting cards, never missing someone's birthday or anniversary. No matter the occasion she had a card to send.

Wuanita is survived by two sons, Rodney McCourt (LaShayna) of Canton, Ohio, and Ronald McCourt Jr. (Amanda) of Dalton, Ohio; a daughter, Jessica McCourt of Dalton, Ohio; a sister, Gertrude Benedict (Donald) of Salineville; and 11 grandchildren as well as a previous husband and friend, Gary Lee.

In addition to her parents, Wuanita was preceded in death by her first husband Ronald McCourt Sr. and four brothers, James "Butch" Smith, Robert Threatt, William Dickson Jr. and Daniel Dickson.

Services will be held at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. with sons Rodney and Ronald McCourt of Well of Hope Ministries officiating the service. Burial to follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. up until the time of service at 2 p.m.
