Torado Knight
EAST PALESTINE — Torado Knight, 71, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away unexpectedly June 11, 2022, at his residence.
Torado was born December 19, 1950, in Salem, Ohio, son of the late Willard and Lucille Zimmer Knight.
He was a proud Vietnam veteran of the US Army. Torado worked as a Maintenance Foreman for East Palestine City Parks Department for 17 years, as well as other local manufacturing facilities prior to his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry.
Torado is survived by four sons, Torado Knight, Jr., Ronald L. Knight and Charles Knight both of Wellsville, Travis Knight of Asheboro, NC; one daughter, Molly Knight of Asheboro, NC; a sister, Margaret Jewell of East Liverpool; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Rocky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jesse, Terry and Kenny Knight and a sister, Alice Knight.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. All other services will be private.
