Robert Corbett Alexander
Robert Corbett Alexander, 74, passed away at 2:15 a.m. April 18,2022, at the Laurels of Norworth in Worthington, Ohio. He was born September 20, 1947 in Lisbon, Ohio, son of Ernest Raymond and Etta Mae (Corbett) Alexander. Robert was a 1965 graduate of Lisbon High School. He graduated in 1969 from Bowling Green State University, and he earned a master’s degree from Ohio University School of Journalism in 1974. He taught English and journalism at Southern Local High School from 1969-1972.
Robert held administrative positions at hospitals in Pittsburgh from 1974 to 1980, Denver 1980-1988, Jacksonville 1988 to1995, and Salt Lake City 1995 to 1998. He served as CEO of Primary Partners LLC from 2017 and of Central Florida Medical Affillliates from 1998 to his retirement in 2020, two independent physician organizations in Central Florida.
Robert’s lifelong passions were the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Robert is survived by his wife Dawn (Pat Richardson) whom he married on August 28, 1971, a daughter Erin Alexander (Chris McClellan) of Chicago, a son Kyle Alexander (Christen Figorowa) of Jacksonville, Florida, a sister, Sarah Suzanne Rogers of North Richland Hill, Texas, a nephew, William (Laura) Dechert and great-nephews Will and Heath Dechert of South Lake, Texas.
A service in celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 12 p.m. in the chapel at Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, Ohio. Interment will follow.
