Patsy M. Stuckey
Patsy M. Stuckey, age 95, formerly of Hanoverton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. Pat was born on November 20, 1926 to Claude and Ola Belle Bent in Spencer, W.Va. Pat married Chester L. Stuckey on December 29, 1944. Pat was a member of the New Alexander Christian Church and the Hanoverton Christian Church. Prior to moving from Hanoverton, she was involved in the church choir, Ladies Aide, the Hanoverton Historical Society, former member of the Hanoverton City Council and City Clerk, and correspondent for the Salem News. Pat also worked for several years at McCullough’s and Schwartz in Salem, Ohio and later the Fish Tank in Lisbon, Ohio. She retired from Family Community Services, Lisbon, Ohio.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Schadel, Burdett, Kan. and Malissa (Dennis) Smith, Homeworth, Ohio, grandchildren Miranda (Eric) Simon of Alliance, Ohio, Joel (Ashley) Smith of Beloit, Ohio, Traci (Daniel) Nuckolls of Burdett, Kan., Trudi (Rodney) Eldridge and Tonya Schadel of Larned, Kan., Steven Schadel of Denver, Colo.; 12 great-grandchildren, Landry Simon, Haven Smith, Barrett Smith, Navy Smith, Erica Eldridge, Eric (Stephanie) Eldridge, Kyle Nuckolls, Raylinn Nuckolls, Heather (Gavin Rothenberger) Nuckolls, Dallas (Jacob) Richardson, Isaac Schadel and Jessica (Bret Snow) Schadel, and three great-great-grandchildren, Landon and Bennett Eldridge and Greyson Snow.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Stuckey, on September 1, 2009, Tonya’s fiance, Tom Seltmann on November 20, 2019 and son in law, Tony Schadel on January 15, 2021.
Donations may be given to the Aultman Alliance Hospice or to the New Alexander Christian Church in care of Maple-Cotton Funeral Home, 11009 Rte 644, Kensington, OH 44427.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at the New Alexander Christian Church with funeral to follow at 11 a.m. with David Napier officiating.
