Orpha Violet Webber
Orpha Violet Webber, 90, of Frostburg, died at home on Friday, April 22, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Salineville, Ohio she was the daughter of John and Violet Hoey both of Salineville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Al and sister -in- law, Barbara Jo (Joie) Scullion.
Orpha graduated from David Anderson HS in Lisbon, Ohio. She was a majorette and fell in love with the HS Quarterback. Orpha and Al were married in December 1952.
Orpha is survived by her children, Roxie Bell and husband Tom of Houston, Texas, Paul Webber and wife Sandy, of Orlando, Fla., Jim Webber and friend Heather of Frostburg and Joni Zukoff and husband David of Houston, Texas. Orpha is also survived by her two grandsons, Paul Webber, II, wife Ely and their children, Violet and Kaden and Brian Bell , wife Jana and their children, Beau and Bryce. She is also survived by her brother John R. (Jack) Hoey and wife Loann of Columbiana, Ohio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter or to UPMC Western MD Hospice Services.
