SACHSE, Texas – Carolyn Jean Frederick Linger of Sachse died April 21, 2022 at Winter’s Park Nursing Home on hospice in Garland, Texas. She was born in East Liverpool, daughter of the late Robert H. Frederick and Elsie M. Wilton Frederick. Carolyn graduated from East Liverpool High School class of 1955. She attended Ohio Valley Business School after graduating. Samuel W. Hoffman, 78, of Carrollton and formerly Minerva, died Monday at the Truman House in New Philadelphia. He was born June 2, 1943 in Salem to Lorin and Dorothy (Irwin) Hoffman. Arrangements by Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home, Minerva.
