Carol Virginia (Krepps) Arend
Carol Virginia (Krepps) Arend, 84, formally of Guilford Lake Ohio passed away suddenly on April 19, 2022 at her daughters’ home in Greensburg, Kentucky, with her family by her side.
Carol was born June 10, 1937 in East Liverpool, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Krepps and Lois Gail (Booth) Krepps Miller. Carol was a 1955 graduate of East Liverpool High School and attended Ohio Business College. Carol was a homemaker by trade raising 7 children and was an active part of her many grandchildren’s lives. In addition to raising her children she always made sure her home was open to grandchildren, nieces’, nephews and any child that needed a place of comfort. Carol was a founding member of Praise the Lord Prayer Group, LifeLine Crisis Pregnancy Center, and AIM Pregnancy Center. She was a proud member of St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Radcliffe, Ky.
Carol leaves her children: Brian Arend of Angel Fire, New Mexico, Michael (Jacinth) Arend of Guilford Lake, Mary Arend Green of Greensburg, Kentucky, Jennifer Arend of Greensburg, Kentucky, and Virginia (Blake )Wehlage of Chicago, Illinois; 10 grandchildren; Devon (Jennifer), Davene (Garcendy), Haedan, Javid, Caroline (Nathan), Maggie, Jamoson, Griffin, Nicholas,Alyse; and three great-grandchildren Mia Rose, John David (Jack), and Amari to carry on her memory. She also leaves her treasured sisters and brother Linda (Barry) Hallas of Boardman, Kristie (James) Burns of Wellsville, Betty (Darryl) Corley of Weirton, W.Va., Judy Ruland of Peoria, Ariz., Mary Moessinger of Bushnell, Florida, and Ralph (Violet) Krepps of Tampa, Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own. Her lifelong friends were embraced as family providing love and support for decades.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty one years David, and two daughters Diane and Donna in addition to her parents.
Her family invites you to celebrate Carol’s life with a memorial mass that will be held at St. George Catholic Church, Lisbon, Ohio on May 7, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately after the mass at Woodsdale Cemetery, Guilford Lake, Ohio with a luncheon at St. George parish hall following.
