Betty L. Kestner

She was born on Dec. 9, 1927 in Wooster, Ohio to Creed and Audrey (Mowrer) Harmon.

Betty graduated from Wooster High School. She worked at Wooster Brush Co. and the Production Credit in Wooster.

She enjoyed cooking, canning and freezing vegetables from their large garden. Betty also enjoyed traveling to Maui, Hawaii which she and Harlan did for 25 years. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harlan E. Kestner, whom she married on Dec. 7, 1947; sons, Jim (Sandy) Kestner of Beloit, Ron (Vickie) Kestner of Atwater, Jeff (Jeff Bazell) Kestner of Bremen, Ohio; daughter, Lynnette (Bill) Toussant of Minerva; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Dean Harmon; sister, Maxine Bothel.

The family will welcome visitors on Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with a service to follow officiated by Pastor Allen Kahler. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
