Janice (Loch) Brothers
SALINEVILLE — Janice (Loch) Brothers, 91, of Salineville passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2022.
She was born in East Liverpool on April 18, 1930 a daughter of the late Clarence Loch and Cleda M. (Carter) Loch.
Having lived all her life in the area Janice was a graduate of Salineville High School; worked over 30 years for PCC Airfoils, retiring in 1998 and was a member of the Salineville Church of Christ where she was proud to have taught Sunday School for many many years.
Janice had many passions in life. She spent her summers at her cabin on Cluster Island on the Ohio River. If she could have lived there year round she would have. She spent many of those summer days boating on the river. Janice never knew a stranger. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends but would feed anyone that was hungry. Family, friends and strangers alike all called her Mom. She loved spending summer days gardening and going to yard sales. She also had a passion for ballroom dancing.
Janice is survived by three sons: Chris (Karen) Brothers of Summitville and their children: Brant and Stephanie, Craig (Diane) Brothers of Monroeville and their children: Lacey and Brady, Corey (Lisa) Brothers of Salineville and their children: Hannah and Alivia; three daughters: Terry (Jay) Hays of Salineville, Tonia (David) Kestner of Lebanon, Ohio and their children: Janzen and Luke, Trudy Loch-Crabtree (deceased) husband Gary (deceased) and her children: Michael, Jayson and Jordan of Maryland; a sister: Aletha Hanley of Salineville; a brother: James (Joyce) Loch of Salineville, 14 great-grandchildren and her beloved Kitty Mamie.
In addition to her parents Janice was preceded in death by her husband Harry R. Brothers whom she married May 23, 1947 and a sister: Patricia Denick.
Services will be held at the Fellowship of the Beloved Church 13696 Bethesda Rd Hanoverton OH 44423 on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rick Lautzenheiser of the church officiating. Burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery.
