Francis McPherson

He was born in Salineville on July 22, 1932 a son of the late Roy McPherson and Mary (Mundy) McPherson. Having lived his entire life in the area Francis was a graduate of Salineville High School class of 1949, a veteran of the United States Army and worked as an Inspector at PCC Airfoils for 45 years. Francis farmed all of his life. He truly had a love for his family and farming. He was always busy and enjoyed frequenting livestock sales. He enjoyed watching sports and his Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday.

Francis is survived by his wife: Patricia (Clark) McPherson whom he married July 1985; a son: David (Tammy) McPherson of Salineville; a daughter: Denise (George) Bach of Canfield; six grandchildren: Dustin Bach, Travis Bach, Dylan (Cris) Bach, Madison (Christian) Adkins, Todd McPherson, Connor McPherson and seven great-grandchildren: Colton, Bane, Devon, Averie, Aiden, Adelynn and Anniston.

In addition to his parents Francis was preceded in death by a brother John McPherson.

Private family services were held at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home. Burial took place in Woodland Cemetery.
