Gladys Naureeta Davis

She was born in Jonesville, Va. on July 16, 1946 a daughter of the late Albin Rigsby and Emily (Kinder) Rigsby.

Having lived most of her life in the area Gladys was a graduate of Southern Local High School class of 1965. She was a homemaker who loved being outside gardening, working in the yard and flower beds. She also loved going for walks. She was a strong Christian by faith.

Gladys is survived by her husband Paul Davis Sr. whom she married on October 31, 1964; two sons: Paul Davis Jr. and Douglas Davis of Salineville; two daughters; Mary Davis of Salineville and Lurisa Davis and companion Mark Taylor of Salem; a sister: Patricia Kreps and her husband Roger of Guilford Lake as well as many nieces, nephews and fur babies.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: a brother: Albin Rigsby Jr. and a sister: Judy Norton.

Services will be held at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville Friday, November 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Joe Sheely of the Solid Rock Community Church of Salem officiating.

Family will be present to receive friends on Friday from 12 p.m. up until the time of service at 2 p.m.
