Barbara Buckel Shaw

Barbara, the eldest of 13 children of Creston (Bus) and Luella Green of La Croft, was born Feb. 21, 1932 in East Liverpool and lived her entire life in the area. She was a life-long homemaker who raised five children, Dan (Karen) Buckel of North Canton, Cindy (Virgil) Wright of Canton, Charles Buckel Jr (Deceased), Barbara Amendola of Canton and Terri (Gary) Martin of Bradenton, Florida. Barbara was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren who she dearly loved and doted on. Along with four of her children, siblings Bill, Ann Sisley, Jolene Phillips, Mary Harris, Mike, Charles, Connie Green Natalina and Donna Steffen survive Barbara. She was preceded in death by husbands Charles Buckel and Don Shaw and siblings Shirley Kat, Donald, Creston (Butch) and Thomas as well as granddaughter Stephanie Lynn Buckel.

Following her wishes, immediate cremation will take place and her remains will be placed with husband, Charles, at Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio, at which time a small private memorial will take place.

The family would like to thank St. Luke’s Community, North Canton for the friendship and wonderful care she received there.
