NEGLEY -- Michael Anderson Canaday, 56, of Negley, died suddenly April 30, 2020 of a heart attack.
He was born in 1964, the son of the late Dr. Jean Hinman Canaday and Ann Anderson Canaday.
He worked seven years as an intake inspector at R & M Fluid Power, Inc., Youngstown, a hydraulic cylinder machine shop. He assisted Dr. O in lasik eye surgeries and exams for nine years. Before that, he assisted his father performing autopsies and preparing slides at Cafaro Hospital.
He is survived by his companion, Melody Gustafson, and a brother, David H. Canaday, M.D. (Kathryn)
Because of the COVID-19 crisis, there will be no traditional service. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown, Ohio.
Memorial tributes may be made to American Lung, National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, or American Cancer Society.
