WELLSVILLE -- Clarence P. Baker, 79, of Wellsville died Friday at Calcutta Health Care Center.
He was born Jan. 17, 1939 in Hammondsville, the son of the late Clarence A. and Evelyn M. (Leasure) Baker.
He worked as a heater helper in the blooming mill at the former Crucible Steel Mill, retiring in 1982. He was also a member of the Highlandtown Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Baker; two sisters, Betty Russell and Hilda Baker; and one brother, John Baker.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Paar) Baker; one daughter, Kelly Baker of Salineville; one son, James Baker of Salineville; two sisters, Barbara Mills of Carrollton and Bonnie Wilson of Salineville; two brothers, Thomas Baker and Dale Baker of Wellsville; and two grandchildren.
No services will be held.
Arrangements were handled by Roberts Funeral Home.
