Sheriff Reports — Deputies responded to state Route 45 in Wellsville for a domestic dispute at 1:46 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to a woman who advised that Ronald Knight, 51, state Route 45, Wellsville, struck her in the face several times and spit on her. The victim had injuries consistent with her statement. Knight was arrested and charged with domestic violence. Sheriff’s Office — Deputies were dispatched at 1:15 a.m. Aug. 9 for a person walking in the middle of the roadway on state Route 45 near U.S. Route 30. A man was located who said he was participating in the Buckeye 200 foot race and there were several others doing the same in the area.
