Sheriff Reports — A man on U.S. Route 30, West Township, reported at 7:43 p.m. Saturday that a 13-year-old boy keeps attempting to break into his vehicles and garage and lives with a relative on Bayard Road, West Township. Highway Patrol — The investigation into a three-vehicle hit-skip crash in West Township still is underway. An unknown vehicle fled state Route 172, while westbound at 11:25 a.m. Oct. 16 after going left of center and striking the mirror of an eastbound vehicle driven by Bruce McCormick, of Akron. Salem — Officers responded to the 200 block of North Cunningham Road at 9:42 p.m. Wednesday for a reported person to be removed. The caller advised that someone had been loitering on the property that was not a guest.
