Salem — Officers responded to the 400 block of South Broadway Avenue at 1:23 a.m. Thursday for a reported fight. The fight had already dispersed before officers arrived, and officers spoke with both the involved parties and witnesses and advised them all to come to the department and fill out statements the next day as everyone was under the influence. Officers requested camera footage from the business but were advised that the cameras were not working. Salem — The school resource officer was advised of a fight after school in the area of East Sixth Street and Hawley Avenue at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday. Officers located the juveniles involved and witnesses of the fight and were advised that one juvenile had brandished a knife at one of the others after the fight was over. While conducting the investigation and speaking with witnesses the knife was located and the juvenile, whose name was not listed, was taken into custody charged with assault and aggravated menacing and transported to the Louis Tobin Attention Center. — Officers spoke ...

Sheriff’s Office — A man on Cream Ridge Road, Elkrun Township, reported at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday that unknown people are continuously pounding on his doors and windows at his residence. — A man on Foundry Hill Road, Franklin Township, reported at 5:44 p.m. Tuesday that he has emergency custody of his child and the mother was sending him harassing and threatening text messages. — Deputies were dispatched at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday to Center Avenue, Center Township, for a person making suicidal threats. East Palestine — Police responded at 5:29 p.m. Feb. 27 to the 600 block of Jackson Street to investigate parking issues and noted the condition of a nearby vacant structure in violation of several zoning law. A complaint was forwarded to the city’s zoning officer for further investigation. — A unsupervised child was noted inside a vehicle parked in the front of Dollar General at 9:12 p.m. Feb. 27. Sheriff’s Office — A woman on Camp Boulevard, Hanover Township reported at 9:13 p.m. Saturday a neighbor’s vehicle was on her property and she was concerned the vehicle would roll down the hillside and into her residence. Upon arrival with Baker’s Towing, deputies learned the vehicle was parked in the driveway in park and rolled backwards down the driveway onto the woman’s property. St. Clair Township – An officer leaving a traffic stop on Feb. 12 observed an SUV with its hood up in the middle of the intersection at state Route 170 and Columbia Drive. The officer turned on his emergency lights and spoke with the driver who said the battery had died.
