-- Deputies were dispatched at 1:25 a.m. Friday to Cream Ridge Road, Elkrun Township, for report of suspicious activity. Deputies met with the caller and walked the property with the caller and didn't find anything out of the ordinary.
-- A runaway juvenile was reported at 10:33 p.m. Sept. 24 at Harvey Avenue, Center Township. A deputy spoke to the juvenile's parents, advised of places the juvenile might be and asked Lisbon Police to check them. Lisbon Police located the juvenile and brought him back to his parents' residence. The deputy gave him a warning and told the parents a report would be on file.

- An officer responded to the entrance of Gary E. Phillips Park on High Street at 10:35 a.m. Monday in reference to sick raccoon. The officer found the animal to be dazed and confused, and euthanized it.
- An officer responded to the first block of Oak Street at 6:19 p.m. Sept. 23 in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked in the road. The officer found the owner of the vehicle who was visiting a resident in the area.
Salem
--A dispute was reported in the 700 block of West State Street at 12:42 a.m. Tuesday. The caller advised that while he was standing outside of his vehicle, someone exited the store and threw a drink at the passenger side of his vehicle. The caller requested the incident to be documented so they could work on obtaining a protection order.
-- Telecommunications harassment was reported at the police department at 11:25 p.m. Monday. Officers advised all the parties involved to block each other and cease all contact with one another. The other half of the dispute advised officers that the caller's child was in possession of an iPad that was gifted to them, and officers advised that the matter was civil and they would need to contact an attorney.
-- A runaway juvenile report was reported at the police department at 8:21 p.m. Monday. The caller advised her son had left home without permission around 12:30 p.m. the day prior and that this has been an ongoing issue. The juvenile's information was entered into the LEADS system, and the matter is under investigation.
-- A suspicious phone call was reported at a business in the 400 block of East State Street at 8:11 p.m. Monday. Officers collected information about the caller and attempted to call the number back but found that it was a falsified, one-time use number. Officers advised the business to ensure that money is taken out of the store nightly and that there would be an extra watch on the premises.
-- Theft was reported in the 700 block of Summit Street at 5:28 p.m. Monday. The caller completed a statement about the incident, including the names of other people involved. The matter is being investigated as a case of criminal mischief currently as the alleged theft of the items could not be proved at that time.
-- A possible scam was reported in the 1200 block of Southeast Boulevard at 5:28 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that they were receiving phone calls about a car accident despite not having been in a car accident nor driving presently. Officers advised the caller it was a scam and not to give them any personal information.
-- An issue with ongoing harassment was reported in the 500 block of East Fourth Street at 4:06 p.m. Monday. Officers determined nothing criminal had occurred at that point and advised everyone involved to stay away from one another and not to touch one another.
-- Officers spoke with a person at the police department about an alleged theft at 3:04 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that someone had taken his coin collection from his house, and that while they had no proof, they knew it had been taken by a person they were familiar with. They also requested the person to be trespassed from his property. The person completed the trespass form and was provided with a copy of the report.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of East Fourth Street at 9:52 a.m. Monday in reference to a well-being check and found the person in question highly confused. The person was voluntarily transported by ambulance to the Alliance hospital.
- Officers responded to the 100 block of Vine Avenue at 7:18 p.m. Sunday in reference to a fight in the street and found four people who were already separated. All people involved had conflicting stories. The matter will be sent to the prosecutor's office for review.
- Officers responded to the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard at 5:57 p.m. Sunday where a resident reported someone had arrived at the home and began hitting him and his brother. Officers spoke with one of the juveniles left on scene, then located the other juvenile and brought him home. Both juveniles had visible marks on their faces. The juveniles' guardian then arrived on scene and showed officers video of incident. The matter will be sent to the juvenile officer.
- Jordin Thomas, no age listed, Boxwood Drive, Beloit, was cited for starting and backing as well as stopping after an accident following a private property crash in the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue at 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
- Jamie Patterson Tice, no age listed, Malone Road, Salineville, was arrested on unspecified charges after officers on patrol at 4:59 p.m. Saturday observed him in the 100 block of West State Street and knew him to have charges for an ongoing investigation.
- Officers responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 1:16 p.m. Saturday in reference to a raccoon that appeared to be sick inside a residence. Officers were able to get the raccoon out of the residence and euthanized it.
- Johnathan Wheat, no age listed, Ohio Avenue, Salem, was cited for driving under suspension after officers responded to the 1000 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 12:47 p.m. Saturday in reference to possible road rage and found him to be driving under suspension.
- An officer responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 12:22 p.m. Saturday where a resident reported a burglary the previous night. Officers found no burglary had occurred and the resident was having a possible medical issue. Medical personnel responded and transported the resident to an appropriate medical facility for evaluation.
- Christine Selway, 57, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal following a two-vehicle crash at South Lincoln and Franklin avenues at 9:34 a.m. Saturday in which she was southbound and allegedly traveled through a red light, striking a westbound vehicle driven by Christopher Michael Pincombe, 54, Adams Avenue, Salem. Selway was treated on scene for possible injuries. Pincombe and his passenger were transported to an appropriate medical facility for evaluation.
- Kayla Clingerman, 40, Youngstown, was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing official business and intimidation after officers responded to the 900 block of East Pershing Street at 11:14 p.m. Friday in reference to her being intoxicated. While at the Columbiana County Jail, she allegedly made threatening comments toward officers.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue at 10:18 p.m. Friday in reference to a patrol to be removed. Officers found the patron already outside the business, but still on the property. Officers observed the patron to be highly intoxicated and fall multiple times. Medical personnel responded and the patron was transported to the Salem Regional Medical Center.
- Blake Solmen, 26, Newgarden Avenue, Salem, was charged with criminal trespass after officers responded to the 500 block of Broadway Avenue at 8:12 p.m. Friday where he had been trespassed from the business.
- Jonathon L. Maines, 38, Cherry Street, Salem; and Lester Lovett Jr., 33, Prospect Street, Salem, were charged with drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on South Ellsworth Avenue at 6:11 p.m. Friday. Evidence was turned over to the drug task force.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of East Seventh Street at 5:57 p.m. Friday where a complainant reported one of her employees had been bitten by a dog. The dog's owner was not at home at the time of the bite. The incident will be forwarded to the city's health department.
- An officer responded to the 400 block of Arch Street at 5:13 p.m. Friday where a resident requested employees of an East State Street business be trespassed from her property following a verbal conflict regarding an attempt to contact someone at the residence. The employee involved in the conflict was trespassed and the officer will check with the prosecutor's office regarding trespassing all employees.
- Officers responded to the intersection of East State Street and North Broadway Avenue at 2:34 p.m. Friday in reference to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Medical personnel responded and the highway patrol took over the investigation.
- Officers responded to the 1200 block of East Pershing Street at 11:09 a.m. Friday in reference to a stolen bicycle. The complainant provided video footage of the theft.
- Officers responded to the area of North Lundy Avenue and Sugartree Alley at 9:48 a.m. Friday to assisted the fire department with a dumpster fire.
- The school resource officer was advised at 9:43 a.m. Friday a student was having mental health issues. The student's mother responded and requested the student be taken to Akron Children's Hospital to be evaluated.
