-- A property dispute was reported at 6:46 p.m. Sunday at a property on Y & O Road, Madison Township. A deputy spoke with both parties involved and advised them how to proceed.
-- A man on West Main Street, Washingtonville reported at 7:03 p.m. Saturday that his 10-year-old daughter was being unruly and locked him out of the residence. Upon arrival, a deputy spoke with the juvenile and she was advised she needs to follow her father's rules.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 11:42 p.m. Friday to Hartley Road, Knox Township for a domestic violence report. All parties involved separated for the night.
-- Ohio State Highway Patrol Steubenville Post in Jefferson County requested assistance at 4:13 p.m. Sept. 10 in stopping a vehicle that entered Columbiana County on state Route 7, Wellsville heading north. Dispatch advised the vehicle was refusing to stop. The vehicle then exited state Route 7 and traveled west on state Route 39, Yellow Creek Township, then east on Tenth Street Extension, McKee Road, Hibbetts Mill Road, south on state Route 45 and then stopped on the state Route 7 southbound ramp. Dispatch advised the driver and passenger were detained. The deputy stood by, along with OSHP Lisbon Post and Wellsville and St. Clair Township police all on scene. The driver, Gary P. Stock, Empire, was taken into custody by OSHP Steubenville Post and transported back to Jefferson County. The passenger, who resides in Wellsville, was provided a courtesy transport home by Wellsville Police.
-- Deputies were dispatched at 10:55 p.m. Sept. 9 to Southern Street, Middleton Township for a domestic dispute, met on scene by both parties involved, learning everything was verbal and they would separate for the night. One party was later checked by EMS due to some mental health issues and was cleared.
Salem
-- A runaway juvenile was reported in the 900 block of West Wilson Street at 9:09 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that they had attempted to speak with the juvenile about their behavior at school earlier in the day, and the juvenile had walked out of the house and hadn't returned after five hours. The juvenile was located later in the evening with self-sustained injuries. The juvenile attempted to injure themselves further in officers' presence but was stopped, and the fire department and EMT responded to the scene as well as their guardian and were able to get the juvenile back in their guardian's vehicle for transport home.
-- Leslie Cole, Salem, was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail charged with two counts of assault and one count of criminal damaging for allegedly assaulting two juveniles at Centennial Park at 7:06 p.m. Monday.
-- An employee passing out was reported at a business in the 1800 block of East State Street at 6:53 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with the person who was up and alert, and following medical evaluation they were transported to the hospital by the fire department for further evaluation.
-- Solicitors were reported in the 100 block of Edgewood Drive at 6:32 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with the people in question who were a political group. The city ordinance regarding handbills was read to the group, and they were advised to continue being respectful.
