- Omer Sahin, no age or address listed, was cited for expired registration following a traffic stop on state Route 344 at Main Street at 5:32 p.m. Sept. 10.

- An officer responded to the 500 b lock of Cherry Fork Avenue at 2:09 p.m. Sept. 9 in reference to a raccoon standing up, spinning in circles and falling down. The officer euthanized the animal.

Salem

- Officers responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 3:40 p.m. Saturday in reference to a person pointing a gun at a dog and found that the owner of the dog was pointing a pellet gun at the dog while yelling at it. Officers advised the owner against such actions which might induce panic when witnessed by others.

- An officer responded to the 400 block of Cunningham Road at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in reference to a Facebook post regarding a Flock camera that had been damaged. The officer found the Flock camera had been cut down along with the solar panel and the camera had been smashed. The matter is under investigation.

- An officer responded to the 100 block of West State Street at 12:34 p.m. Saturday where a complainant reported someone had cleaned out the dumpster area and someone had formed a circle with rocks and placed unknown bones in the center.

- Adam Stephen Magnuson, state Route 45, Salem, was charged with OVI following a two-vehicle crash in the 300 block of East Fourth Street at 8:29 a.m. Saturday in which he allegedly backed into a legally parked vehicle.

- Officers responded to the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 3:24 a.m. Saturday where the resident reported a neighbor pounding on her back door and she was afraid he was attempting to break in. Officers advised the resident to keep her doors locked and consider installing a camera facing the door. Officers spoke with the neighbor, who denied leaving his apartment.

- A Newgarden Avenue resident reported at 1:14 a.m. Saturday multiple items of clothing were damaged after being left at her ex-boyfriend’s. The matter was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

- Officers responded to the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue at 3:14 p.m. Friday in reference to an individual irate with staff and customers. Officers told the person in question to leave and issued him a trespass notice.
