-- Deputies responded to the 38000 block of Industrial Park Road in Center Township at 2:55 p.m. Sunday in reference to a domestic altercation. Deputies found the man involved had already left, but the victim declined medical assistance. A warrant for domestic violence was issued for the man.
-- Deputies responded to the 1600 block of Lisbon Road in Salem Township at 6:48 p.m. Saturday in reference to a resident requesting an ambulance due to having a medical issue while being alone. Deputies found that family had arrived and the resident was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Mahoning County.
-- A deputy responded to the 27000 block of Orange Street in Knox Township at 3:37 p.m. Saturday in reference to a medical call involving an intoxicated person. Sebring EMS responded, but the person signed a medical refusal.
-- Deputies responded to the 100 block of Heritage Drive in Knox Township at 11:17 a.m. Saturday in reference to a private property crash in which a driver fled the scene. The driver was found in Salem Township and issued a citation for multiple offenses.
-- Deputies responded to a Meadow Wood Drive home in Butler Township at 6:19 p.m. Friday in reference to a juvenile making suicidal threats. The juvenile was found to be fine and said the statement was made in anger.
-- Deputies responded to the 6000 block of St. Jacob's-Logtown Road in Center Township at 1:17 a.m. Aug. 27 in reference to a noise complaint and found several juveniles on a property near the complainant. An adult at the residence was advised and agreed to monitor the juveniles for the night.
-- A deputy responded to the 37000 block of Butcher Road in Salem Township at 9:58 p.m. Aug. 26 in reference to drug activity. The deputy spoke with the complainant and advised how to proceed and to contact the drug task force.
Leetonia
- A Cherry Valley Drive resident reported at 8:28 p.m. Aug. 28 her son had been bullied and harassed by other juveniles while at the local laundry mat. The case is under investigation.
- Rusty May Altman, no age or address listed, was cited for no driver's license following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Columbia Street at 12:49 p.m. Aug. 28.
Salem
-- A suspicious person was reported in the 800 block of South Lundy Avenue at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday. Officers located the person in question inside an abandoned building and advised them not to return, or they could face criminal charges.
-- Officers responded to several location in the city to check on the wellness of a woman for another agency at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday. Officers were unable to speak with the woman in question.
-- Officers were flagged down in the area of North Lincoln Avenue and East Third Street at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday regarding drug paraphernalia.
-- A verbal dispute was reported in the 500 block of Walnut Street at 10:33 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with both parties and were advised that the dispute was verbal only, and no threats were exchanged. Both were advised to avoid one another for the remainder of the night.
-- A juvenile problem was reported in the 2200 block of Southeast Boulevard at 5:42 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that they believed one of their family members had taken their money. After the money was recounted, it was determined to be a misunderstanding.
-- Officers spoke with a person by phone at 5:07 p.m. Monday who advised that he had been confronted by a man known to him while he was in the 700 block of West State Street. Officers provided the caller with options for dealing with the situation.
-- A juvenile issue was reported in the 400 block of South Lundy Avenue at 3:59 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that they had been informed by a bus driver that a juvenile was refusing to get off the bus. Officers escorted the juvenile's parents onto the bus, and the juvenile was removed.
-- Officers spoke with a person at the police department at 1:45 p.m. Monday who advised that their ex had been released from prison and they hadn't been notified. Officers advised them to contact the courts about not being notified of the process for filing a protection order.
-- Officers spoke with a person by phone at 2:06 p.m. Monday about receiving unwanted messages. Officers advised them of their options for dealing with the situation.
