Lisbon
- Michelle N. Radar, 45, Chester, W.Va., was charged with OVI, open container, obstructing official business and resisting arrest following a traffic stop in the area of state Route 154 and Bluff Road at 8:26 p.m. Aug. 25.
- Ariel Durham, 37, Lisbon, was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after officers responded to the 500 block of North Market Street at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 22 where she was allegedly sleeping on the sidewalk.
- Officers arrested Ashley House, no age or address listed, on an active warrant out of the Stark County Sheriff's Office after checking a Grandview home at 6:13 p.m. Aug. 21.
- Officers arrested Steve Watters, no age or address listed, on an active warrant out of Columbiana County following at traffic stop in the 500 block of North Market Street at 5:22 p.m. Aug. 19.
- Officers arrested Alvin Carnes, no age or address listed, on an active warrant out of Columbiana County following a traffic stop at 7:22 p.m. Aug. 14 at Jefferson Street and Lincoln Way.
- Richard Vecchio, 64, Lisbon, was cited for public intoxication after an officer responded to the area of state Route 164 south of town in reference to reports of someone staggering into traffic at 2:35 p.m. Aug. 13.
- Aaron Perry, no age or address listed, was charged with OVI and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on North Market Street at Vista Drive at 9:09 a.m. Aug. 13.
Leetonia
- A Main Street resident reported on station at 1:44 p.m. Aug. 27 she was not able enter her home due to a loose dog preventing her from exiting her vehicle. Officers assisted the resident out of her vehicle and found the dog belonged to a neighboring home. Officers found the neighbor did not have a license for any of their dogs.
- An officer responded to the 100 block of Walnut Street at 8:26 a.m. Aug. 26 in reference to a juvenile who had struck his mother and locked himself in a vehicle following a dispute with his mother regarding getting out of bed for school.
Columbiana
- Andrew Thomas, 42, Youngstown, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop near state Route 7 and Metz Road at 3:06 p.m. Aug. 21.
- Danayia Gray, 27, Youngstown, was cited for speed and child restraints following a traffic stop on West Park Avenue at 10:09 a.m. Aug. 21.
- Officers responded to the 800 block of Parkview Drive at 5:17 p.m. Aug. 20 in reference to an individual suffering from a mental health crisis.
- An individual reported on station at 6:43 p.m. Aug. 17 her car being keyed in the 100 block of East State Route 14.
- Officers responded to the Firestone Pool with medical personnel at 6:23 p.m. Aug. 17 in reference to a medical emergency, providing aid until no longer needed.
- James Rivera, 44, no address listed, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after officers responded to South Main Street and Dequesne Street at 2:06 p.m. Aug. 16.
Salem
-- Officers checked on a person in the 1100 block of Jennings Avenue at 11:20 a.m. Monday who had allegedly been driving erratically. Officers located the vehicle in question parked in the driveway and spoke with a family member who advised everything was fine.
-- Officers checked on the wellness of a person sleeping in a vehicle in the 100 block of West Fifth Street at 8:01 a.m. Monday. Officers spoke with the person who advised that he had fallen asleep in front of his residence after working a midnight shift.
-- A water line leak was reported in the 1300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 3:17 a.m. Monday. The caller advised they could hear water running on the walls of their apartment. Officers did not hear anything, and there were no signs of a water leak inside or outside the building.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of East State Street at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to four juveniles taking all the food from the blessing box at Nina's Closet and throwing it at each other. - Officers spoke with the juveniles, had them pick up the trash and advised them if they are caught again, charged would be sent to the juvenile court. Officers also contact the juveniles' parents and advised them of the issue.
- Sydney Marie Mercer, 22, Georgetown Road, Salem, was cited for a traffic light violation following a two-vehicle crash at West State Street and Dodge Drive at 1:38 p.m. Sunday in which she was westbound and allegedly ran the red light, striking a northbound vehicle driven by Everett P. Ramsey, 61, Salem. No injuries were reported.
- An officer responded to the 1000 block of Newgarden Avenue at 8:02 a.m. Sunday to assist medical personnel with an unresponsive individual. The individual was subsequently transported to a medical facility by ambulance for further treatment.
- Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at East State Street and South Madison Avenue at 9:11 p.m. Saturday in which a vehicle driven by Martin V. Joliat, 64, North Canton, was westbound on East State Street and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Joseph Hill, 39, Salem. Both drivers provided conflicting stories, so Joliat was cited for assured clear distance ahead and Hill was cited for reckless operation. No injuries were reported.
- An East Third Street resident reported at 7:53 p.m. Saturday reported receiving text messages and phone calls from someone saying they would send out personal photos of the complainant unless she sent money to the person. The officer told the complainant it is a scam and to never share personal information with unknown individuals.
- A Southeast Boulevard resident reported at 6:09 p.m. Saturday receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from the sheriff's office who told he had to pay money or he would be arrested. The officer explained that it was a scam to contact his bank to see if he can recover his funds.
