-- A man on Buffalo Road, Hanover Township reported a loud explosion in the area at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday. A deputy checked the area and didn't find anything.
-- A domestic violence report was taken at a residence on Carter Road, Fairfield Township at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday. All parties separated and left the residence, with no charges filed on either party.
-- An assault was reported at a homeless shelter on state Route 45 in Salem Township at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday. All parties involved separated and left the residence.
-- A woman on Hill Street, Center Township reported at 6:08 p.m. Tuesday that she wants to get her dogs leashes on her neighbor's property that has no trespassing signs. She was advised to speak with the property owner.
-- Carroll County Sheriff's Office at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday requested a welfare check on a person at a residence on Camp Boulevard, Hanover Township, due to the person's pendant alarm pinging in their county and being unable to locate the person at the location of the ping. A deputy had no contact with the person at the Hanover Township property, but dispatch advised speaking with a family member by phone who said the person is fine, with family and it was accidental.
-- A person from Old Monroeville Road, Salineville called at 11:37 p.m. Aug. 22 to request an ambulance due to having suicidal threats, advising they needed to go to a hospital. Upon arrival, Northstar EMS transported the person to East Liverpool City Hospital, East Liverpool.
Leetonia
- An officer responded to the 100 block of Lisbon Street at 12:34 a.m. Aug. 23 in reference to a vehicle in the private drive with its four-ways on. The officer was unable to find the vehicle in question.
- An officer at 7:23 p.m. Aug. 21 attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle at State and Water streets that was traveling 55 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. The officer stopped pursuit at village limits and advised dispatch that the vehicle was westbound on state Route 344 toward Salem.
