-- A deputy was dispatched at 8:33 p.m. July 15 to a Rochester Road, West Township property for a theft report, issuing a warrant for theft on a Youngstown woman in Columbiana County Municipal Court.

-- Officers spoke with a person at the police department at 9:09 p.m. Monday regarding an assault that occurred at a business on Friday. They advised that they had been playing a game and one of the other players had gotten frustrated with him and grabbed him by the throat and threw them to the ground. The person did not want to pursue charges but requested that the matter be documented.
-- A fight was reported in the 1400 block of East Pershing Street at 7:10 p.m. Monday. Officers spoke with one of the individuals involved who advised that another juvenile had punched him in the neck and jaw area and fled the area before officers arrived. A witness also showed officers a video of a portion of the physical altercation. Officers advised them that a report would be made and relayed to the juvenile officer, who would follow up with them. Further investigation is pending.
-- Two people were reported attempting to start a fight at a residence in the 200 block of West Wilson Street at 7:07 p.m. Monday. The homeowner chose to have both trespassed from the residence, and officers advised them of the same and not to return to the residence.
-- Officers assisted the fire department and EMT with a medical call in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 6:43 p.m. Monday.
-- A large tree limb blocking the roadway was reported in the 400 block of Vine Avenue at 3:29 a.m. Monday. Officers provided traffic control for the street department until the limb was removed.
-- Suspicious activity was reported in the first block of Elm Avenue at 2:24 p.m. Monday. The caller advised that two people in ski masks had been seen around a vehicle.
-- Officers spoke with the staff of a medical facility in the 2500 block of Bentley Drive by phone at 11:17 a.m. Monday regarding an altercation between residents. The caller advised of three incidents involving different people and that they needed a report on file.
-- Two people were reported walking on the railroad tracks at the intersection of South Ellsworth Avenue and East Wilson Street at 6:28 a.m. Tuesday. Officers located the people in question and advised them of the complaint.
