Highway Patrol

— The driver of a box truck who crashed on state Route 45 in Salem Township at 8:18 a.m. Thursday and resulted in the road being closed for short time was cited for reasonable control after driving off of the side of the road, striking a culvert, utility pole, two mailboxes and then went down an embankment, overturning and striking another utility pole. Justin A. Mitchell, 27, Bandy Road, Alliance, was transported by Leetonia EMS to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown for suspected minor injuries.

Sheriff’s Office

— A man from King Road, Butler Township reported at 8:22 p.m Friday that he parked his semi truck in a parking lot in the 600 block of Valley Road, Butler Township, when someone spun their tires and stuff was all over his semi truck. He reported no damage at this time.

— A man from Parkview Drive, Center Township reported at 7:33 p.m. Friday that an unknown woman was trespassing on his property, but when told to leave, she did.

— A woman on Salem Grange Road, Salem Township reported at 3:57 p.m. Friday that an Alliance man has property at her residence and will not come to get it when she is home.

— A man on Franklin Avenue, Salem reported at 3:16 p.m. Friday that he was in a property dispute with his sister, of Creek Road, Unity Township, due to both their names being on the deed of her residence. He was told to contact an attorney.

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:40 p.m. Thursday to Depot Road at Sell Road, Center Township, for a woman lying in the ditch. A deputy made contact with the woman, who was walking and fine. She was given a courtesy transport to her residence on Lisa Lane, Center Township.

— A man on Rose Drive, Center Township called at 4:47 p.m. Thursday to request a welfare check on his brother, also Rose Drive, Center Township. A deputy spoke with him and he said he was fine and will call his brother.

— A caller for Lincoln Way Storage, East Liverpool Road, Madison Township reported at 4:33 p.m. Thursday that a man from St. Clair Township was on the property causing a disturbance with a woman and they wanted him off of the property. He left before deputies arrived.

— A woman from Township Line Road, Madison Township reported a case of fraud at 3:44 p.m. Thursday, saying that the deed to her residence was transferred to Largemouth Rei LLCon April 13. She contacted an attorney.

East Liverpool

— An Ogden Street resident told police investing a possible breaking and entering on May 3 that the light from the sun was shining through her window in a manor she had never seen before and that there was no one in the home but the light scared her and she decided to call the police and that everything was okay.

— Bri Cook, 26, address not provided, was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant through the county when she came into the police department on May 3 to report an incident that had happened earlier in the day.

— Officers forwarded a report for a dispute and possible assault at a Vine Street residence on May 3 to the county prosecutor’s office for review after officers spoke with two females involved in the incident. The first female said she told the second one to remove a ladder from her property and the second female then pushed her forcefully. Officers did not observe any marks on her. Officers talked to the second female who said that the first female started yelling that she was going to kill her and tried to push the ladder over and she grabbed the ladder, which caused it to fall backwards on the first female.

— An officer heading westbound on state Route 39 on May 3 observed a disabled vehicle which had been parked in the same spot for two days. First Class Towing was called to remove the vehicle.

— An officer investigated the area around a Fisher Avenue residence on May 3 after receiving a call from a resident reporting a suspicious person outside their residence.

— Timothy Hannan, age and address not provided, was issued a summons and citation for no driver’s license during a May 3 traffic stop on state Route 7 for a modified or loud exhaust.

— Officers checked the area of W 4th Street near Monroe Street for a black van reported to be playing loud music on May 3.

— An officer responding to a noise complaint May 5 advised a Shadylane resident that if he had to return, she would be cited. The officer found the resident to have music playing at an unreasonable volume. The officer noted when he arrived, he pounded on the door multiple times and had to use the end of his flashlight to knock before the resident heard him and answered the door. The resident told the office she thought the volume was fine and didn’t see an issue. She was told by the officer to turn the music down and keep it down.

— A female was advised by officers on May 3 that she is trespassed from a Rubicon Street resident and is to park on the street when her picking up or dropping her child at her ex-husband’s house and if she is caught on the property she will be criminally charged.

— When a female came into the station to make a theft report on May 3, she told officers her boyfriend kicked her out after they got into a verbal argument and she wanted to get her backpack and shampoo. Officers advised her they would try to make contact with him but if he doesn’t answer the door or give the items back willingly, it would be a civil matter.

— Officers checked on a female who reported to have slit her wrist at a Lincoln Avenue location on May 3. Officers were able to locate the female who said she was fine and not suicidal. She did show the officers a cut on her wrist and told the officers she was frustrated and did it because she was upset. She requested medical help and was transported by the fire department.
