— An individual was given a trespass warning at 10:28 a.m. March 12 in Dollar General on Rose Drive, after becoming agitated when store personnel declined him service.

— A male subject reported at 2:21 a.m. March 16 in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue that he had sent photos of his genitals to a woman he met on TikTok days ago and now she was threatening to expose the photos if he didn’t send them $1,000. He was advised to not send the money and to block the suspect online as well as through his phone.

— An officer responded to the 300 block of East High Street at 5:38 p.m. March 13 for traffic control after for a downed utility pole.

— Police responded to the 100 block of East High Street at 1:18 a.m. March 14 to assist with traffic control during an active house fire.

— A caller reported at 6:46 p.m. March 6 that her neighbors in the 200 block of West Spruce had been arguing. Upon arrival, participants verified that it had not been physical and the male half was waiting for a ride to leave.

— Police investigated a complaint about 4 wheelers and dirt bikes on the roadway at 8:02 p.m. March 12 in the 400 block of West Washington.

— An officer investigated a complaint about telecommunication harassment at 2:18 a.m. March 17 in the 200 block of North Beaver Street.

— A disabled vehicle was provided with assistance at 9:17 p.m. March 16 on Lincoln Way before Smith Gas.

— An officer investigated another complaint about dirt bikes at 3:36 p.m. March 17 in the 300 block of West Pine Street.

— Darien Greenlea, no address listed, was trespassed at 1:23 p.m. March 12 from Circle K in the 300 block of North Market St.

Leetonia

— An area resident was given a trespass warning at 4:49 p.m. March 19 in the 300 block of Main Street, where she was trying to round up one of her runaway cats.

— Police checked a building and perimeter in the Coke Ovens park, where they observed an open bay door on a storage building at 10:30 p.m. March 19.

— A resident in the 200 block of Elm Street reported a theft of more than $2,000 at 3:30 p.m. March 20.

— Jayden Huddleston, no address listed, was cited for expired registration and driving with an expired driver’s license at 2:04 a.m. March 21 near state Route 344 and Commerce after a routine traffic stop. He was provided a courtesy transport by Perry Township police.

— A welfare check was performed on a disabled vehicle at 6:42 p.m. March 22 in the 200 block of Chestnut Street. She was waiting for a tow truck.

— An individual was given a warning for pedestrians in the roadway and a courtesy transport at 8:03 p.m. March 21 to Dollar General. The individual, dressed in all black, had been photographing the sunset on the state Route 344 bridge.

Salem

–Officers responded to the 200 block of Oak Street at 5:39 p.m. Monday for a report of a possibly rabid skunk. Officers did not observe any signs of rabies in the skunk, and an Ohio Department of Natural Resources officer was contacted and advised of the incident.

–Officers responded to the 200 block of Continental Drive at 2:42 p.m. Monday for a reported incident that occurred at a local nursing home. The caller advised a patient had reported a doctor verbally attacked them, but no threats were made and the nursing home wanted a report on file.

–Officers responded to the 300 block of Penn Avenue at 9 a.m. Monday for a report of harassment. The caller advised his ex-girlfriend would not leave him and his friend alone. Officers spoke with the ex who advised the caller still has property at her residence and wants to get it back to him. Officers advised her the caller did not want anything back, and she advised that she would not bother them again.
