Salem

— Officers responded to the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue at 11:46 p.m. Thursday for a reported fight. Officers spoke with the involved parties and were advised that they were just arguing a nothing physical had occurred. All parties were advised to stay away from each other.

— Officers responded to the 2700 block of East State Street at 11:48 p.m. Thursday for a reported suspicious vehicle. Officers checked the area and located the vehicle at a nearby business. It was unoccupied and nothing suspicious was observed.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of Woodland Avenue at 7:53 p.m. Thursday for a speak with officer report. The caller advised that their ex-husband keeps emailing her, and that she would like him to stop. Officers contacted him and advised him to stop emailing the caller.

— Officers on patrol in the 1700 block of East State Street at 7:30 p.m. Thursday observed a refrigerator partially blocking the roadway. Officers spoke with the residents who moved it from the roadway.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of West State Street at 2:30 p.m. Thursday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with the woman who advised she was fine and did not need any assistance.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of Arch Street at 11:14 p.m. Thursday for a wellness check. The caller advised that their mother was being held against her will at his grandmother’s residence. Officers spoke with the mother who advised that she was not being held against her will and was fine, and officers had advised the caller of the same.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of South Union Avenue at 7:52 a.m. Thursday for a reported parking complaint. Officers located a vehicle parked legally on the side of the roadway.

Columbiana

— Rayshawn Scott, of Youngstown, was cited at 10:18 p.m. Jan. 31 in the first block of West Park Avenue for driving under suspension and failure to yield, after a traffic stop.

East Palestine

— A female Brookdale Avenue resident reported at 2:57 p.m. Feb. 4 receiving unwanted communication from someone known to her.

— A junk vehicle warning notice was mailed shortly after noon Feb. 4 to a resident of the 700 block of East Main Street.

— An officer responded at 12:52 p.m. Feb. 5 to West Main Street and Bacon Avenue for a possible drunk driver. After locating the vehicle and initiating a traffic stop, it was discovered the driver was not impaired but having power steering issues.

— Police responded at 4:28 p.m. Feb. 5 to the 10 block of West Martin Street where a lost Apple device was pinging to retrieve the item for a caller.

— An officer assisted a stuck tractor trailer at 9:57 a.m. Feb. 6 on North Sumner Street with the help of the street department.

— A minor traffic crash was reported at 1:18 p.m. Feb. 6 in the area of West Main and North Walnut streets, causing damage to the mirrors on both vehicles.
