St. Clair Township

— Patricia Fullerton, 43, address not provided, was taken into custody on Jan. 16 for an outstanding warrant after officers responded to an Annesley Road residence for an unknown emergency.

— Officers checked the area of St. Clair Avenue on Jan. 16 for possible drunk driver.

— Officers dispatched on Jan.16 to a Kelly Avenue location for a medical emergency stood by for Northstar who transported a male to the hospital.

— Officers conducted a welfare check at a Sprucevale Road residence on Jan. 16. After speaking with the female who was the subject of the check, officers said she did not appear to be under any kind of distress and was with her mother. The female told officers she was OK.

— An officer dispatched for a welfare check on Jan. 16 to a Valley Drive residence was unable to make contact with the male.

— An officer was requested to assist a Columbiana County sheriff’s deputy during a Jan. 16 traffic stop pm Berkshire Road.

— Officers checked out a Summit Drive apartment and found nothing after a resident called and said she heard something inside on Jan. 16.

— Following a Jan. 16 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue for a random plate check indicating the driver was suspended, the officer was able to verify the driver was a valid driver.

— An officer responding on Jan. 16 to a deer needing to be put down after being hit by a car on East Liverpool Road found the deer was deceased when he arrived and moved the deer off the road.

— An officer filed a report for a Sprucevale Road resident who claimed his neighbor was shooting at his property on Jan. 18. The officer spoke with the neighbor and told him he would need to put up a backstop if he was going to shoot his firearm.

— An officer checked the area of state Route 7 for a reckless driver on Jan. 18.

— An officer removed a Christmas tree from the middle of East Liverpool Road on Jan. 18.

— An officer checked on a female at Sheetz who was reported to be acting weird on Jan. 18. The night manager at Sheetz said the female wasn’t doing anything wrong, but she had been sitting there for a while and acting a little strange. The officer noted ELPD had dealt with the female earlier in the day and dropped her off at Sheetz because she had nowhere to go. The manager said the female was fine and could hang out in the store.

— Officer spoke with a Sheetz employee on Jan. 18 who told them three young girls came in and said that someone had waved a gun at them. The employee told the officers that there were several young individuals always hanging out in the parking lot and she had seen a male with a squirt gun but did not see a real gun. The females left prior to the officers’ arrival. The officers watched security footage and told the employee if they get a plate off the vehicle or any other information to call them back.

— An officer was dispatched on Jan. 14 to St. Clair Avenue near Pizza Hut to remove a rock from the middle of the road.

— An officer checked Sprucevale Road near the overlook on Jan. 14 for a car that was reported to have been parked there for some time.

— A female who was intoxicated and being uncooperative was detained while officers investigated a fight reported between two females on Jan. 14. The other female involved told officers that she had told the detained female to quit hitting her own boyfriend and then the detained female began hitting her. Multiple witnesses confirmed the story. After being told the by the officers that they needed statements, the female decided that because they were friends, she did not want to press charges.

— An officer patrolling Dresden Avenue on Jan. 15 came upon a car with its four-ways on and stopped. The driver told the officer that AAA had already notified Calcutta Towing.

Liverpool Township

–Ali Geylan, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for speed of 73 mph in a 55-mph zone following a Jan. 16 traffic stop on state Route 7.

–Jonathan Cogar, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for failure to control after officers responded to a report of a vehicle on its side on Dresden Avenue on Jan. 16. The officer had First Class Towing pull the vehicle out, after officers got both occupants out of the car. EMS arrived to check the occupants, but treatment was refused.

–Dakota Taggart, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for a license plate light violation following a Jan. 17 traffic stop on Campground Road.

–Brian Beverly, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for expired plates and a verbal warning for speed following a Jan. 18 traffic stop on Boring Lane.

–Maggie Graham, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for speed of 46 mph in a 25-mph zone following a Jan. 18 traffic stop on Boring Lane.

Sheriff’s Office

— A man on Lindesmith Road, Hanover Township reported at 1:52 p.m. Wednesday that he purchased some items on the internet from a person in the state of California for $1,000 and now the person will not ship the items.

— A man on Georgetown Road, Knox Township reported at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday that his ex-girlfriend was continuously calling him on the phone and sending him messages through social media after he told her multiple times to stop contacting him. A deputy spoke with her by phone and advised to have no contact with the man.

— A representative of the Hanover Township Road Department reported at 11:01 a.m. Wednesday that the exhaust system was stolen from one of three vehicles parked in the township parking lot on U.S. Route 30, Hanover Township.
