Sheriff’s Office

— A deputy returned a call at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday regarding suspicious activity at a property on state Route 170 in Middleton Township, advising the caller how to proceed.

— A deputy was dispatched at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday to Clarks Mill Road, Washington Township, regarding suspicious activity, advising the call how to proceed.

— A man from Yellow Creek Township reported at 8:20 p.m. Dec. 23 that he lost his wallet while at a property on East Liverpool Road, Madison Township.

— Neighbor troubles were reported at 6:42 p.m. Dec. 23 on Old Irondale Road, Yellow Creek Township.

— A deputy responded at 4:07 p.m. Dec. 22 to West Main Street, Salineville for a runaway juvenile/missing juvenile report. The mother filled out a missing persons report and the juvenile was entered into the system as missing. The mother was told to call if the juvenile returned home.

— Deputies were dispatched at 4:46 p.m. Dec. 21 to Dunn Road, Madison Township for a reported assault. Deputies spoke with all parties involved. While conducting the investigation, a person become unruly and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. A sentencing hearing was set Jan. 12 in county Municipal Court for the person arrested, Alecia M. O’Hanlon, 39, Dunn Road, East Liverpool, who pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening another woman and getting in her face and screaming at her on Dec. 21 in Madison Township.

— Menacing was reported at 3:43 p.m. Dec. 18 on North Street, Middleton Township.

Salem

— Officers responded to the area of Butcher and South Cunningham roads at 4:16 a.m. Monday for a reported tree down in the roadway. Officers checked several areas around the location but did not locate any trees in the roadway.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 3:56 a.m. Monday for a residential alarm. The caller advised their alarm detected motion at the basement door. Officers checked all outer perimeter doors near the basement, which were all secure. The homeowner was advised to call back if needed.

— Officers checked on an illegally parked vehicle in the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue and located the driver at 8:43 p.m. Sunday. Officers located the driver, and the vehicle was moved.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Sixth Street at 2:52 p.m. Sunday for a reported dispute between a man and woman. Officers found that it was a verbal dispute over a ring which could not be found. The female involved advised that they were going to leave the residence once they were able to get a ride.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 2:14 p.m. Sunday for a report of a stolen license plate. The caller advised that they had parked their vehicle at a family member’s house on Cleveland Street on Wednesday and gone out of town, and that when they returned home, they noticed that their license plate was not on the vehicle. The caller filled out a stolen plate form, and it was entered into LEADS.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Snyder Road at 1:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of a suspicious vehicle being driven behind a closed business in Perry Township. Officers advised Perry Township officers of the vehicle and that they would check on it. Officers spoke with the driver who advised they were a family member of the owner, and they were just setting up a trail cam. Officers remained on scene until Perry Township officers arrived.

— Officers responded to the 1600 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:39 p.m. Sunday for a reported juvenile problem. The caller advised officers of ongoing issues with his 15-year-old daughter. The caller was advised of their options and had the process of filing unruly charges explained.

— Officers responded with the fire department to the 1100 block of Benton Road at 11:09 a.m. Sunday for a smoke investigation. Officers stayed on scene until they were no longer needed.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Rea Drive at 10:48 a.m. Sunday to deliver a message to the Saint Peters Police Department in Missouri.

— Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 2:34 a.m. Sunday for a reported wellness check. Officers spoke with the person in question, who was being treated for back pain and assisted with getting them back into their bed for further medical evaluation.

— Officers responded to the area of North Cunningham Road at 12:26 a.m. Sunday for a reported disturbance. Officers found that an occupant was highly intoxicated and making excessive noise. Officers spoke with them and asked them to keep the noise down.

— Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 9:12 p.m. Saturday for a wellness check. Officers located a woman and her friends attempting to get into the emergency room for medical treatment. Officers assisted in getting her inside, and emergency room staff were able to get them into a room soon after.
