St. Clair Township

— Matthew Bigelow, age and address not provided, was cited following a Nov. 28 traffic stop on Dresden Avenue. Bigelow was observed by the officer making a left turn into the north exit at Walmart where the location is marked with a no left turn sign.

— Parties involved in an Nov. 28 accident were both advised to make a report and contact their insurance companies after each reported being hit by the other and officers unable to determine who hit whom due to both vehicles having left the scene of the accident and there being no debris field. Both drivers say the other driver went left of the center and hit their mirror.

— Officers investigated a report of a dog running behind a truck on state Route 170 on Nov. 28. Officers arrived and the owner of the dog put the dog back in his truck.

— Franklin Gilbert of West Virginia was issued a citation for expired plates following a Nov. 28 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.

East Palestine

— Officers responded at 12:52 p.m. to a personal property crash Thursday on North Walnut Street.

— Officers responded at 8:36 p.m. on Wednesday to a report of a domestic on Park Avenue on Wednesday. Officers determined the alteration was verbal only.

— Officers relayed information related to a custody agreement at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday at the station.

— Officers conducted a welfare check on a man on East Martin Street at 6:18 p.m. at the request of his daughter on Wednesday. Officers assisted EMS at the scene.

— Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle on North Market Street at 3:36 p.m. on Tuesday. The driver advised he was waiting on his wife who was at a nearby business.

— Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Alice Street at 5:11 .m. on Dec. 1. After an investigation, a man at the home was transported to an area hospital.

— Officers responded to West Martin Street at 2:19 pm. on Dec. 1 for a disturbance. Officers made contact with both parties involved and they were advised to not contact one another.

— Officers responded at 11:40 p.m. to Wood Street for a noise complaint. Officers spoke to the residents and they agreed to keep the noise down.

— Officers responded at 11:30 a.m. to Wood Street to possible probation violations. Officers determined there was no violation.

— Officers responded at 11:27 a.m. to Brookdale Avenue for a disturbance. Officers were able to resolve the issue.

— Officers responded at 8:40 a.m. on Nov. 30 to West Clark Street to assist EMS with a male who had shot himself in the leg. The firearm was secured and the man transported to an area hospital.

— Officers responded at 1:40 a.m. on North Market Street near McClure Avenue on a vehicle with two of its occupants being under the age of 21. A probable search was conducted and contraband seized. Robert J. Powell, no age or address given, and Nichalos Ferrel, no age or address given, were issued citations for marijuana possession. Multiple vape and THC pens, an atrial case of beer and two marijuana joints were confiscated.

— Officers conducting a traffic stop at 1:32 a.m. on Prospect Street issued Ricardo Gonzalez, no age or address given, a citation for open container on Nov. 28.

— Officers seized suspected narcotics and paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Glenwood Avenue on Nov. 267 at 8:14 p.m. The matter remains under investigation.

— Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on South Main Street on Nov. 26 and arrested Anthony Gardner, no age or address given, for domestic violence.

— Officers responded at 7:41 p.m. on Nov. 26 to Glenwood Avenue to a report of domestic disturbance. Officers found no physical violence had occurred.

— Officers responded at 6:27 p.m. to a reported theft on North Market Street. The incident is currently under investigation.

East Liverpool

— Officers checked around the First Church of the Nazarene on Walnut Street on Nov. 25 for a male reported to be lying behind a pillar, but found no one.

— A driver was issued a verbal warning for failure to stop at a stop following a Nov. 25 traffic stop on West 5th Street.

— Officers checked the Jennings Randolph Bridge for a male reported to be riding a motorized bicycle on Nov. 25 but were unable to locate the person.

— Bud Hall Sr., 46, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, criminal damage and disorderly conduct and transported to the Columbiana County jail following a well-being check at his Moore Street residence on Nov. 25.

— Officers responded to a report of a juvenile who ran away from his Bank Street home on Nov. 25 after an argument with his mother. Officers attempted to locate the juvenile at several locations but were unable to find him. A missing persons report was filled out to enter the juvenile into LEADS as a missing juvenile.

— A parking citation was issued on Nov. 26 to a black SUV parked on the sidewalk against the flow of traffic on Lincoln Avenue after police received a complaint about the vehicle.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop on Nov. 26 on Jefferson Street after observing a vehicle without taillights on after dusk. During the stop the driver was able to turn the lights on. The driver received a verbal warning.

— The police department received a call from a female on Nov. 26 who had filed a missing juvenile report for her son the previous day providing officers with the location of her son. Officers went to an Ohio Avenue address and located the missing juvenile. They took him into custody and returned him to his mother.

— A Mainland Gas Station employee called police on Nov. 26 to report a victim running into the store saying a male with a gun chased him there. When an officer arrived at the station, he was told both the male and the victim had left, but the victim was carrying a backpack and a sword. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate either one.

— Officers told a male who reported receiving threatening messages through text on Nov. 26 that since there were no threats of physical violence, but only threats to take back the car he was buying since he was unable to make the rest of the payments that it was a civil matter since the car was already transferred into his name.
