Sheriff Reports

— A man on U.S. Route 30, West Township, reported at 7:43 p.m. Saturday that a 13-year-old boy keeps attempting to break into his vehicles and garage and lives with a relative on Bayard Road, West Township. A deputy spoke with the relative by phone and advised him of the complaint.

— Salem Police requested at 4:21 p.m. Saturday that deputies check a residence on Winona Road, Butler Township for a 16-year-old girl entered as missing from Salem. Deputies made contact with all three residents on the property and all three said they do not know the girl and she was not on the property.

— A deputy at 10:10 p.m. Friday spoke with a man from Smyth Road, Alliance who was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, South 12th Street, Knox Township, after dark. He said his sister lives on South 15th Street, Sebring and her dog took off from the property and was last seen in the cemetery.

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:95 p.m. Friday to Valley Road, Butler Township for a menacing report.

— A woman on state Route 644, Hanover Township, requested a report on file that her daughter’s father continues to harass her through text message, trespasses on her property and enters the residence when she is not present. She was advised how to obtain a protection order.

— A man on Margaret Lane, Knox Township, reported at 11:26 p.m. Oct. 29 that his ex-girlfriend and her father continuously have been harassing him any way they can, due to them wanting him to move out of the residence. He is in the process of moving out.

— A man in Virginia requested a welfare check at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 29 on his wife and two children who he cannot reach by phone at a Knox Township residence. A deputy spoke with the homeowner, the man’s mother, who said his wife and children were dropped off at the airport and were in-flight back home.

Columbiana

— Gabino Ascencio James, of Columbiana, was arrested on a charge of OVI at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 24 after a traffic stop near state Route 14 and Springfield Road. No other information was available.

— A Union Street resident reported at 5:37 p.m. Oct. 24 that he was the victim of an alleged scammer who alleged that he had his lost dog and was requested money for its return.

— Police responded at 4:17 p.m. Oct. 21 to the 100 block of South Elm St. for a mental evaluation.

— A report was taken on station at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 regarding a possible fraud involving a roofing company.

— A property owner reported entry into his shed at 8:18 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 1000 block of Columbiana Lisbon Road.
