County Sheriff

— Deputies responded at 3:18 a.m. on Monday to the Lisbon Taco Bell at state Route 45 in Center Township for a report of an active alarm. Employees advised they had unintentionally activated the alarm.

— Deputies responded at 6:56 p.m. on Monday to the area of state Route 164 in Fairfield Township to a noise complaint.

— Deputies responded at 9:57 p.m. on Monday to Grant St. at the Pike for a report of multiple gunshots. Deputies found the area quiet and could not locate anyone.

— Deputies responded at 4:16 a.m. on Saturday to Bayard Road in West Township to a report of horses in the roadway. The horses were corralled by the owner prior to deputies arriving.

— Deputies responded at 9:44 p.m. on Saturday to state Route 30 in Center Township to a domestic dispute. The parties were advised it was a civil matter.

— Deputies responded at 5:08 p.m. on Saturday to KOA Campground on Winona Rd. in Butler Township for an open 911 call. Deputies checked the area with negative contact.

— Deputies served a protection order at Hadley Road in Unity Township at 7:35 a.m. on Saturday.

— Deputies responded at 7:10 a.m. on Friday to Depot Rd. near Speidel Rd. to a report of a man walking who appeared to have two kitchen knives. The subject was located on state Route 172 at Baker Road but he did not have knives in his possession. The subject was uncooperative but was committing no crime and did not appear to be in distress and the incident was cleared.

— Deputies responded at 9:36 p.m. on Friday to the intersection of Rollercoaster and Elkton Roads in Madison Township to a report of a car stopped in the middle of the roadway and a couple arguing. Deputies checked the area but made negative contact.

— Deputies responded at 3:50 p.m. on Thursday to DP Fuel on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township to a report of an intoxicated driver. Deputies checked the area but made negative contact.

— Deputies responded at 5:19 a.m. on Thursday to an open 911 call on Riffle Rd. in Elkrun Township. One resident advised their phone had gone into emergency mode and called 911. After a brief investigation, the incident was cleared.

— Deputies responded at 1:19 p.m. on Thursday to Conkle Rd. in Salem Township to a report of a resident who said someone was knocking on the door of his residence. Deputies made negative contact with any subject in the area.

— Deputies responded at 6:42 p.m. on Thursday to Grant St. in Center Township to a caller who reported her mother was “freaking out.” At the scene, the woman said that her daughter, who claimed her mother was drunk, needed to mind her own business. She said there were no issues, both women went to their respective bedrooms and the incident was cleared.

— A Hanoverton resident came to the sheriff’s department at 9:24 p.m. to report her husband, with whom she is separated from, is harassing her through text messages and threatening to assault her.

— Deputies responded at 5:36 p.m. on Wednesday to an alarm drop on Ellyson Rd. in Hanover Township. Deputies found all doors and windows were secure.

— Deputies responded at 7:47 p.m. on Wednesday to Depot Rd. in Center Township to assist the Wayne County Common Pleas Court in serving a protection order.

— Deputies responded at 10:31 p.m. on Aug. 23 to Cloverleaf Stable on Georgetown Rd. in Knox Township to a report of criminal mischief.

— Deputies responded at 6:43 a.m. on Aug, 23 to Carmel Anchor Rd. in Rogers in Middleton Township to a domestic dispute. Both subjects advised the deputies they were arguing over nothing serious.

East Palestine

— Officers responded at 3:42 a.m. on Monday to W. Martin St. for a suspicious person report and a report of someone screaming. Officers checked the area for 10 minutes but made negative contact.

— Officers responded at 5:45 p.m.. on Sunday to W. Main St. for a report of a dog on the side of the road near Refractory Resources. Officers found the dog and returned it to its owner.

— Officers responded at 11:24 p.m. on Saturday to the Moose on W. Rebecca St. for a report of a woman acting disorderly and refusing to leave. The women left before officers arrived.

— Officers took a report at 10:05 p.m. on Saturday from an E. Taggart St. resident who said two reported being harassed by someone known to them. That person was contacted and warned to cease and desist all communication with the reporting party. Additional information was gathered and sent to the prosecutor’s office.

— Officers responded at 8:19 a.m. on Saturday to the intersection of W. Main St. and Park Ave. for a welfare check. After a brief investigation, all was determined to be okay.

— Officers responded at 7:32 p.m. on Saturday to E. Martin and Sebring Streets for a stuck vehicle. Officers were able to assist the vehicle and a tow truck pulled the car out of a ditch.

— Officers responded at 12:06 a.m. on Friday to W. Martin St. to report a suspicious person. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

— Officers spoke at 6:28 p.m. on Friday to an E. Taggart St. resident who reported being harassed by someone known to him.

— Officers responded at 10:21 p.m. on Friday to investigate a sex offense involving an adult man and a juvenile family member. During the investigation, officers heard that an adult man had been watching pornography on his laptop in the living room while a juvenile was seated at the dining room table. The adult man began masturbating and making loud noises. Kevin Clark, no age or address given, was arrested and charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

— Officers responded at 11:09 p.m. on Thursday to W. Main St. to a report of a car missing. The car was located and it was determined a friend had borrowed the car, The owner did not wish to press charges.

— Officers responded at 10:43 p.m. on Thursday to N. Market St. for unruly juveniles out past curfew. The juveniles were warned and released to their residence on N. Market.

— Officers took a report from a man at 6:47 p.m. on Thursday calling his wife, with whom he is separated, using an old cell phone to log into his social media accounts and delete messages he intends on using for custody purposes.

— Officers responded at 12:17 p.m. to speak to a resident on E. North Av. regarding a telecommunications harassment complaint. A report was taken.

— Officers spoke to an individual at 1:32 a.m. on Thursday about an incident that happened in Boardman. The victim was advised to file a report with their local police department.

— Officers responded at 10:26 p.m. on Thursday to a report from a Wood St. resident who reported someone was knocking on their door.

— Officers spoke at 1:13 p.m. on Wednesday with a resident of Carbon Hill regarding a telephone scam call she received. A report was taken.

— Officers spoke at 6:33 a.m. on Wednesday when a resident reported that someone had left something on her grill overnight.

— Officers responded at 3:42 p.m. on Aug. 25 to a report of an unruly juvenile.

Perry Township

— Officers on patrol in the 1900 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday located an open door on a business. Officers found the building to be unoccupied.

— Officers responded to the 11000 block of Andrew Avenue at 11:43 p.m. Monday for a wellness check. Officers spoke with all parties and were advised that everyone was OK.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of West Fifth Street at 9:18 p.m. Monday to assist Salem officers with a report of a person who made possible threats and was walking around with an unassembled rifle. The man was found and detained, and the rifle was found to be a BB gun. Officers stood by until the investigation was done.

— Officers responded to the area of state Route 45 at 7:49 p.m. Monday for a reported reckless operator. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road at 5:31 p.m. Monday for a follow up. Officers spoke with all parties involved.

— Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 4:35 p.m. Monday for a report of possible fraud and harassment. A person had been using her old phone number to access her Amazon account and had claimed to have of the caller’s information. The caller advised they changed their passwords and also wanted a report.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Benton Road at 2:35 p.m. Monday for a reported runaway juvenile. The 14-year-old male who the caller has custody of, left the residence around 9:40 a.m. and hadn’t returned. A missing juvenile form was filled out and the juvenile was entered into LEADS.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of West Perry Street at 12:10 p.m. Sunday for a report of trespassing. The caller advised that they believed someone had been coming into his apartment while he wasn’t there, moving things around, and taking items. There were no signs of forced entry and the caller advised he always locks his deadbolt when he leaves.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Country Club Lane at 9:18 p.m. Saturday for a reported domestic in progress. A woman was attempting to leave after consuming alcohol when their brother took that keys, and the woman advised that the car was kicked. The woman was advised to come to the station the following day when not consuming alcohol for a statement and photos if they wanted to pursue charges and not to leave the property at that time. No physical violence was reported.

— Officers responded to the area of Pine Lake Road and North Lincoln Avenue at 9:12 p.m. Saturday for a reported cow in the roadway. A member of the fire department responded and was able to get the animal to its owner.

— Officers responded to the 2200 block of Goshen Road at 7:57 p.m. Saturday for a report of a group of female juveniles stopping and asking for a phone. Officers found the juveniles had left a group home and stood by until Goshen Township officers arrived.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Pembrook Drive at 8:36 p.m. Friday for a reported neighborhood dispute. Officers spoke with both parties, and they agreed to separate for the night.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Plymouth Place at 8:20 p.m. Friday for a reported animal complaint. The caller advised that an animal could be heard howling constantly in a nearby woodland. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate them.

— Officers responded to the 2200 block of Shamrock Arbor Drive at 7:57 p.m. Friday to assist the fire department. Officers stood by and assisted until no longer needed.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Prospect Street at 1:41 p.m. Aug. 26 for a report of a woman who had fallen. Officers were able to gain entry into the home for EMT and the fire department to enter and provide aid to the woman.
