— Officers responded to Centennial Park at 1:10 a.m. Thursday for a report of a person there past hours. Officers advised them of the park hours, and they left.

— Officers responded to the area of Newgarden Avenue at 12:23 a.m. Thursday for a report of an unknown dispute. Officers were advised that a man was running after a woman down Newgarden. Officers located both parties arguing in front of their residence. Both subjects were intoxicated, and the dispute was over a large food order. The female half agreed to stay at a friend’s house for the evening.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Ohio Avenue at 11:54 p.m. Thursday for a reported juvenile problem. The caller advised that while watching a friend’s children she and the juvenile had gotten into an argument resulting in the juvenile riding his bike away from the residence. Officers searched the area and located the juvenile at their babysitter’s residence, and he was transported back to his residence without issue and advised to contact officers if any further issues arose between him and the caller.

— Officers responded to the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 10:01 p.m. Thursday for a report of a prowler. Officers were unable to locate anyone suspicious. Extra watches have already been posted for the area and officers will continue to do so.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 7:43 p.m. Thursday for a report of a radiator hose being cut approximately a week ago. It has since been replaced but the owner was advised an extra watch would be placed in the area.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of Continental Drive at 7:35 p.m. Thursday for a report of paint being dumped on a car. Officers found that it was likely paint transfer from an object or something along the roadway, but the caller was advised that there would be an extra watch in the area.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Maple Street at 3:35 p.m. Thursday for a reported civil matter. The caller advised that while driving by the residence they observed the property manager with the screen door enter but did not see them enter the residence and wanted the incident on file.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of Vine Avenue at 2:28 p.m. Thursday for a speak with officer report. The caller shared concerns after a patient left the facility, and officers advised the caller of their options.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of West Wilson Street at 2:07 p.m. Thursday for a reported parking complaint. The vehicle was legally parked, but the owner advised that it had been sitting there for an extended amount of time due to losing the keys. The owner advised that he was in the process of getting it moved.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Buckeye Avenue at 1:54 p.m. Thursday for a report of a man soliciting. Officers advised the man that there was no soliciting inside city limits.

— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Maple Street at 12:25 p.m. Thursday for a report of suspicious activity. Officers were advised that an unknown person had broken into the residence, which nobody was supposed to be inside due to the tenant being evicted. Officers checked the interior of the residence and located two people inside. It was determined that the person was allowed to be at the residence due to the eviction date not being met yet. Officers explained the situation to all involved.

— Officers responded to the 2200 block of Merle Road at 11:53 a.m. Thursday for a speak with officer report. School administrators advised officers of a possible issue with something found on a student. The item was found not to be an issue and nothing else was needed.

Sheriff’s Office

— Deputies responded at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday to a business in Fairfield Township for an active alarm. Deputies spoke to a foreman on site who said the alarm had been having issues.

— Deputies responded to an ongoing neighbor dispute on Waterford Road in Unity Township at 11:26 p.m. on Wednesday. Deputies spoke to one neighbor who provided a recorded conversation that she said proved threats were made against her and her family. Deputies determined the conversation was vague. Officers explained in order to proceed with any criminal charges evidence that a crime was committed was needed. Deputies attempted to make contact with the other party but one answered the door. Protection orders are in place against and by both, but officers determined neither were violated.

— A man on Case Road in Knox Township reported a burglary at his home at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday. He reported items missing and his dog was locked in a bedroom.

— Deputies responded to the area of Florence Drive in Yellow Creek Township at 3:52 p.m. on Wednesday to a 911 hang-up call. Deputies made contact with the homeowner who advised it was an accidental call.

— Deputies responded at 8:55 p.m. on Tuesday to a report of a loose cow in the roadway on Miller Road in Center Township. Deputies could not loathe any livestock. In the area.

— Deputies conducted a welfare check on a man residing on state Route 154 in Elkrun Township at 12:36 a.m. on Friday at the request of the Minerva Police Department. A woman with their officers made a comment that she was unsure if her husband was alive. Deputies made contact with the man who advised his wife had “fled in the middle night” and took his phone and vehicle. He advised his wife was suffering from mental health issues and needed medical assistance. Deputies passed on the information to Minerva PD who took the women to a local hospital for assistance.

— Deputies returned a call at 6:56 p.m. on Aug. 19 to a resident on state Route 644 in Hanover Township that advised of threats and harassment. Deputies told the resident how to proceed and advised a report would be on file if needed.

— Deputies connected a welfare check at 5:03 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the Lisbon Drug Mart. The subjects had left prior to deputies’ arrival. A report was taken.

— Deputies responded at 1:25 p.m. on July 20 to Applegate Road to a report of an alarm drop. Officers spoke to the homeowner’s daughter who advised she accidentally tripped the alarm.
